On Friday, April 19th, UC Davis, the City of Sacramento, Pivot Sac and SETA/Sacramento Works co-hosted a community career resource fair at Fruitridge Community Collaborative to connect community members with resources and supports for employment and workforce training.

Free workshops covered important topics like eating disorders in the black community as a barrier to employment, transferrable skills and creating successful job applications to the UC Davis temporary employment services. 100 people attended and over 30 employers and career resource providers like Sacramento Works/SETA, La Familia, Greater Sacramento Urban League, Asian Resources, Inc. and Pivot Sacramento were on hand to connect with job seekers.
