Test Screening for the Documentary: The Right to Exist
"There is no medicine as powerful as housing." – Dr. Margot Kushel, MD
Join us on Friday evening for a limited test documentary screening of "The Right to Exist." Theatre-style refreshments will be served. Following the screening, the filmmaker will join us for a Q&A panel discussion to explore the story of the film, the process of creating the documentary, and how this story continues for our region.
“The Right to Exist” explores the homelessness crisis in Sacramento, California, through a combination of personal stories and in-depth analysis. The film follows the city-authorized Camp Resolution, a self-governed, woman-run homeless encampment whose struggle for continued existence garnered national attention.
