Join us at the Golden State Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) Summit to learn about the latest in CGT research, innovation and clinical care, while having the opportunity to engage with the thriving CGT community at UC Davis and in the Greater Sacramento Area. The free 1.5-day event (Nov. 3-4) will provide an opportunity to network with scientists, clinicians, researchers and industry leaders at the forefront of CGT development in the region.
The event, hosted by UC Davis Health and the Office of Innovation and Economic Development, will also celebrate the launch of the UC Davis Cell and Gene Therapy Initiative (CGTI).
UC Davis has been developing and treating patients with CGTs for almost 20 years. The CGTI will help coordinate and support cell and gene therapy work across the various UC Davis departments and centers. It spans basic and translational research, a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility, clinical trials, clinical care and more.
About the event:
This is a ‘by invitation only” event. It will provide a forum to discuss various challenges and opportunities in cell and gene therapy at UC Davis and beyond, including:
– Research focus areas and funding
– CGT resources at UC Davis
– Raising capital and technology commercialization
– Patient access and affordability
– Insights from industry collaborators
– Building a CGT ecosystem in Sacramento
