​Beats and Bites is our ongoing series at Aggie Square that brings people together through movement, music, and good food. Each gathering spotlights a local group or individual whose work brings culture to life in our community.

Join us for complimentary bites and a workshop on the featured art, dance, or discipline of the month.

This month, we are featuring the McKeever School of Irish Dance.

Based here in Sacramento, the McKeever School of Irish Dance seeks to spread and preserve Irish dance while allowing it to be a channel for joy, friendship, fitness and confidence. An emphasis is always placed on building up the individuals self confidence and sense of community through dance. Their belief is that Irish Dance is for everyone!

Join us as Nicole McKeever, and dancers from the school walk us through the steps of traditional Irish dances.

We will be serving complimentary bites to match the theme of the music and dance — the first 50 people eat, on us!
