Beats & Bites
Beats and Bites is our ongoing series at Aggie Square that brings people together through movement, music, and shared meals. Each gathering spotlights a local group or individual whose work brings culture to life in our community.
This month, we’re excited to welcome Casa de Brazilian Folkloric Arts of Sacramento and Mestre Caboclinho, a Sacramento-based artist and teacher known for his work in Capoeira and folkloric drumming. Through live performance and interactive movement, he’ll share the rhythms and stories that shape his practice—offering a space for connection, reflection, and joy.
We’ll round out the evening with food inspired by Brazilian flavors, prepared by local cooks whose recipes carry personal meaning and regional roots.
Come as you are—no experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to move with us!
