Event Planners Exchange Vendor Showcase Readiness Workshop at Aggie Square

The Event Planners Exchange (EPE) is a collaborative network of professionals across UC Davis and UC Davis Health who plan everything from small meetings and grand rounds to large conferences, retreats, and campus-wide events. The May 7 showcase brings these planners together in one place—creating a unique, high-value opportunity for vendors to connect directly with the people actively sourcing services.

Who should attend this workshop:

• Small and microbusinesses looking to sell to UC Davis or UC Davis Health
• Entrepreneurs and community-based businesses exploring institutional clients for the first time

Participants will gain insight into how university and health system buyers make decisions, what compliance requirements matter most, and how to position their business as reliable, professional and campus ready.

Vendors will refine a tailored B2B pitch, draft a one-page capability statement, develop a practical follow-up plan and assess their readiness. The session also includes strategies for effective booth presentation on a budget, including ideas for visual setup, samples and giveaways that resonate with institutional buyers.

While tailored to UC Davis and UC Davis Health, the tools and frameworks shared in this session are transferable to other corporate, government and higher education vendor fairs. Participants will leave not only prepared for this event but equipped with a repeatable strategy to pursue future B2B opportunities with confidence.
